In these times of struggles we wait patiently for the Lord, but sometimes with no response. In the waiting, we can learn how faithful God is, even when He is silent.

As we begin the Christmas season, we are reminded of how Christmas is a yearly expression of the ultimate experience of waiting. As kids, we were waiting the entire month for Christmas morning but think back to the excitement of waiting waiting on the Savior!!

Most people don’t like to wait. It is not much fun and often feels like we are wasting time. Scripture doesn’t teach us how to handle automatic answering devices, but it does suggest the attitude we should have when waiting.
