The Bible tells us stories about God’s passionate love for people. When God becomes flesh and takes center stage in Jesus, we see a man relentless in the pursuit of others, including those who have been discounted, rejected, and despised. Through Jesus, God’s actions towards His creation reveal a deep, unwavering love.
A simple touch and the leper is healed. While others push lepers away, Jesus reaches out. A blind beggar cries out loudly as Jesus nears. The crowd tries to silence him, but Jesus stops to give him full attention and heals him too. Nicodemus, a religious leader with sincere questions, approaches Jesus at night. Jesus speaks to his heart, letting him know there is something more he needs—he needs to be born again
God’s love for you is extraordinary and the Bible is God’s love story to you. The apostle John describes his faith journey when he says,
We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us.
1 John 4:16 NASB
