Good News! You are not called to pursue a life of integrity alone.
The secret of living a life of integrity is to live in active fellowship, receiving encouragement and accountability from others who are running the same race and sharing the same goal.
You need a group of “intimate few” friends who will hold you in loving accountability so you can run successfully the race of life (Hebrews 12:1-3). They will be a group who grows with you as you confide in them your successes, struggles, and even your sins. They will give you wisdom and courage to stand firm in your faith (Colossians 3:16). The Bible says,
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” -Proverbs 27:17
Accountability to a select few people sharpens your integrity and keeps you from falling. Are you a part of a small covenant group of people who are growing spiritually?
Dare to Ask God to give you an accountability group if you are not already a part of one. And if you are, Dare to Ask God to use this group to sharpen your life to look more like Him.
