Great challenges inspire new innovations.
Consider Reverend Ning Za Taung in Myanmar…
Despite living in quarantine due to COVID-19, Reverend Taung had a deep desire to grow in his walk with God. When he was invited to attend an ILI leadership training event using a video conferencing app, he knew he wanted to participate.
There was only one problem... Taung could not get strong enough internet access to participate in the video calls inside his home.
Instead of declining the invitation, he moved a table, chairs, his Bible, and smart phone to the top of his roof so he could receive a stronger internet signal.
Twice a day, Taung climbed to the top of his roof, never missing a single session.
Another ILI training event has already begun using video conferencing apps, and a third event is scheduled for the beginning of May. Jesus said,
"Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”
- John 17:3
Friend, knowing Christ deeper was worth Taung climbing his roof to join others online. During this pandemic, how can you make knowing God a priority?
