You have a place in God’s divine plan for family!
The best way to understand family and your place in God’s grand design is examining the Bible...
It all started with the first family EVER! God created Adam and Eve and commanded them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. ” (Genesis 1:28a). Adam and Eve, as a family, were given authority and dominion on earth, and became co-creators with God for generations to come.
But that’s not all! God created you “in His own image” (Genesis 1:27). So not only do you, Friend, have worth as a reflection of the creator, but our family relationships reflect the Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as well! God’s perfect design is that every family manifests the fruit of the Holy Spirit including “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22).
How are you reflecting the image of God through your life? Which fruit of the Spirit do you need more in your life right now?
