What makes a family strong?
Researchers in more than 30 countries have found remarkable similarities among families of different cultures. They found the qualities they share far outstrip cultural distinctions! Over the next few weeks, we will cast a vision for the six characteristics of strong families. Let’s start with two this week!
Strong families share a strong commitment, AND they enjoy spending time together!
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ!
-Galatians 6:2
Strong families have a strong commitment to family priority! They are dedicated to one another’s well being. They recognize sacrifices must be made for the sake of the family, and they make those sacrifices willingly. Does your family have a strong commitment to carrying each other’s burdens?
"For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them."
-Matthew 18:20
Strong families also enjoy spending time together! A study revealed children reported “spending and enjoying active time together” as the number one factor of making a happy family! Are you and your family committed to gathering together?
