Gratitude is the quality of being thankful and showing appreciation. It is a mark of the Spirit-filled life.
Paul writes to the Ephesian Church and says,
“Be filled with the Spirit . . . always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father.
- Ephesian 5:18-20

My family has a tradition that was started by my grandmother and has existed for four generations. Each year we gather on the third Thursday of November to give thanks to God. We remember the previous generations and celebrate God’s mercy and goodness.
