Our hope is to encourage you with biblical truths that will help you pursue 2021 with purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 is a favorite verse of many people, reminding us that God’s intentions toward us are for good.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

One often-overlooked truth from this verse is that God does indeed have plans. God is purposeful. He’s not reacting to circumstances and managing the best He can. God is intentional. He has specific plans and acts accordingly to those plans.

This leads to another truth for us to learn from scripture. If God does not approach life randomly, neither should we. Starting a new year offers the opportunity for a reset, and we should take advantage of that opportunity.

As the new year begins, take time to reflect on 2020. Don’t let the lessons from the past year go to waste. Instead, learn from all you have experienced. Then, commit to living a purposeful life in the year ahead. We encourage you to take time to prayerfully decide on a word or phrase for this year that will direct your approach to life for the next 12 months.

Dare to Ask God what your focus should be during this new year. Remember, He has plans for you. Finding your purpose is empowering and life-giving. God has created you for a purpose, so make 2021 a purposeful year!

Awaiting great things,
