PODCAST 9: NORIVAL TRINDADE - ILI CONTEXTUALIZATION

Norival Trindade, ILI Vice President for Training, is responsible for all ILI training resources and maintaining the quality of leadership equipping as it multiplies around the world. In today’s podcast, Norival discusses the importance and challenge of contextualizing ILI’s training to best suite all languages and regions. Norival gives fresh insight on how the Eight Core Values integrate together and function in the life of a leader.

The next challenge for ILI is the 100 Nations Initiative. The goal is to equip and provide support for active and multiplying teams in at least 100 nations of the world. Norival reports that solid teams currently exist in 44 nations. The initiative motivates the ILI Global Team to get into the hard work of equipping and inspiring multiplying leaders everywhere.

PODCAST 8: FLORENCE FOKOUA - CAMEROON

In today’s podcast, we hear from ILI Leader in Cameroon, Florence Fokoua. With a passionate burden to equip leaders throughout the 29 nations of French-speaking Africa, Florence and her husband, Leo, have committed to pouring their lives into spreading the Gospel througout their region. Christian resources are scarce in the former colonies of France in Africa, especially resources for equipping leaders. When Florence discovered ILI’s Eight Core Values, she realized she had discovered the tool she could use to accelerate the spread of the Gospel. She translated the training material into French and began the work. She shares some great stories of multiplying leaders and serving the Lord in places like Cameroon, Chad, and Senegal in West Africa.

 

PODCAST 7: KELLY PHILLIPS - USA

In today’s podcast episode, History Maker Kelly Phillips reaches out to her generation on California’s Central Coast in the USA. She’s on staff with Cru, formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ, and has a passion for evangelism and disciple making. In our discussion with Kelly, she talks about the millennial generation and their unique needs as the first fully technologically “connected” generated. She also discusses the use of Soularium, which provides 50 photographic images that help facilitate spiritual conversations. Learn more about Soularium. PODCAST 6: JOHN LIM - THAILAND

In today’s podcast episode, we talk with ILI leader from Singapore, John Lim. John sells insurance in Singapore, but through a need that presented itself to him while chairing a committee of his local church, the Lord led him to Thailand. There, the Lord burdened his heart for the Thai people. He spent two years traveling back and forth from Singapore to Thailand reaching out to the villagers and farmers around the nation. He made frequent trips, but he was not seeing lasting results.

That all changed when he attended an ILI training in Kenya and was transformed by the Eight Core Values. He decided to multiply the leadership training back in Thailand, and the Lord began to move. The Thai people became empowered Jesus followers – planting churches, building schools, and developing compassion ministries throughout the region. The Lord has taken John further than he ever dreamed, both in Thailand and beyond.

 

PODCAST 5: ANIA HOROCHUK - LITHUANIA

In today’s ILI Team Talk podcast, Ania Horochuk, a Ukrainian university student, shares how she came to the Lord as a high school exchange student in the USA. Ania returned to Europe and began college at a Christian university in Lithuania. She seeks a job in the USA and begins working at Chick-fil-A in Louisville, Kentucky. where she hears about History Makers. She immediately catches the vision to equip leaders in Lithuania through Eight Core Values. It’s a true story of how God can do far more that we can ask or think.

 

 

PODCAST 4 - JUAN BRAVO, COLOMBIA

 

Juan Bravo serves as ILI’s Director for Colombia. Though Juan has experienced his share of trials, including being shot in the streets of Medellin when drug cartels ruled the city, the Lord has given him a passion to raise up leaders equipped to spread the Gospel and transform their culture. While his home country of Colombia is his focus, Juan also has a passion for all of Latin America.

In this episode, Juan talks about how he came to Christ and is now one of ILI's “leaders equipping leaders.” He has great insight into the need of the Latin American people and how the Gospel can changes both lives and culture.

 

PODCAST 3 - AL VOMSTEEG, USA

Al VomSteeg is the Senior International Director for ILI (International Leadership Institute). He travels the world mentoring leaders and encouraging the work of making disciples in the church at large. In today’s podcast, Al discusses his role with the birth of ILI.

Co-founder, Wes Griffin, connected with Al as he was serving as president of a mission organization. Al recognized the need for simple yet effective leadership around the world, and he sensed Wes’ passion and the Lord’s direction in developing the ILI model of leadership multiplication. Discipleship is Al’s passion, and his burden is to equip the church to be true disciple-makers. In this episode’s discussion with ILI USA Director, Kyle Phillips, Al gives a clear sense of how God is moving and fulfilling the Great Commission of making disciples of all nations.

In this episode, we find out why “Europe ablaze with the Gospel” focuses Martin Durham, ILI Director for Europe. His Kerygma 180 ministry trains and supports street evangelists in London and other cities. He is a creative and passionate disciple maker with a clear vision for reaching Europe.

Martin is implementing an intentional strategy to equip the church through ILI’s History Makers training, with a goal to plant leadership teams in every nation of Europe. Martin is based in London, England. Today he discusses the spiritual environment in Europe and the great need for committed disciple-makers across the continent.
